Advanced Measurements To Provide GTE With Additional SOFC Test Stands
Calgary - June 1, 2002 - Global Thermoelectric Inc. (Calgary, AB) issues contract to Advanced Measurements Inc. to build eight additional SOFC Fuel Cell Test Stands for delivery in fall of 2002.
"With Advanced Measurements and National Instruments, we have significantly increased our fuel cell test capability and accelerated our development," said Dennis Prediger, the Manager, Stack Engineering, Global Thermoelectric Inc. "This is helping us meet our aggressive commercialization schedule."

"AMI has won this contract based on the excellent performance and reliability of our existing systems. This second generation includes all our previous expertise plus new measuring systems to expand the capabilities of these existing systems."
AMI said, that the new generation of Fuel Cell Test Stations are based on the previous modular architecture, both at the software and hardware level. This configuration has made it easy to adapt the Test Stations to the particular needs of every customer and include new test that may be needed in the future. "In our knowledge, no other vendor of Fuel Cell Test Stations is offering to their customers test as important as Impedance Spectroscopy in the standard configuration" said Irving. "AMI's advantage is a solid understanding of the customer's needs backed by a solid team of engineers, scientist and technologist to deliver a superior product".
