The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is conducting studies to better understand any potential impacts of hydraulic fracturing. It is widely anticipated that the results of EPA studies will require compliance reporting that will require sensor verified activity data; and that’s where Advanced Measurements comes in. With over 500 channels of data available, Advanced Measurements can provide any combination of information; for example, use of chemicals, water usage, diesel usage, accountability for extracting the volume of slurry and proppant that went down a hole. As well, we use software algorithms to manage both environmental and hard costs. We look forward to supporting your fleet environmental effort as well as reducing cost of compliance.
“We were going down the path of ‘we want an acquisition and a support equipment control system that would complement our current pump controls’ and it was a big decision. However we chose not to be in that business. We chose Advanced Measurements because we believe the controls are a step ahead of the competition, but mostly it’s because of the attention we get — Advanced Measurements supports us.”
